Biographical Sketch:

 I've previously been an assistant professor at Penn State University ( Main Campus at University Park) and the U.S. Naval Academy, a visiting professor in the economics department and the Woodrow Wilson School for Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and senior economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

My research interests are in the areas of macroeconomics and monetary theory and policy.  Some of my papers are published in the Journal of Monetary Economics, International Economic Review, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, and the Economic Review at the Federal Reserve Banks of St. Louis and Atlanta.

I am the coordinator for the Joseph L. Lucia Lecture on Public Policy at Villanova's economics department.  Our past speakers include Robert Barro, Joseph Stiglitz, Frederick Mishkin, John Taylor, Xavier Sala-i-Martin, Dale Mortensen, and Gregory Mankiw.
