Seminar Objectives:

Seminar in School Leadership I is designed in order for students to be able:

  1. To investigate the ISLLC Standards.
  2. To become acquainted with and to apply adult learning theory (andragogy) to the study of school leadership.
  3. To learn about reflective practice, the purpose and nature of learning organizations, and leadership ethics as these can shape school leadership practice.
  4. To consider the importance of making data-based decisions in school settings.
  5. To envision a cultural-systemic process of continuous school renewal through organizational learning.
  6. To formulate a provisional School Leadership Statement.
  7. To organize a Professional Portfolio.
